Suga is currently the Chief of Staff at Kitalulus, Indonesia's second largest and fastest-growing job platform. As part of her work there, she started Talentport, the company's cross-border remote talent initiative linking startups and SMEs in Singapore to top digital talent in Southeast Asia. Prior to that, Suga served as Senior Investment Officer at EMIA, a Mekong-focused private equity fund where she led the firm's entry into Myanmar, building their team and portfolio in the country over 5 years. She still serves on the boards of several portfolio companies including three microfinance institutions, an F&B operator and an online travel agency. She is a passionate advocate for social impact, particularly from a gender lens. Suga began her career as a petroleum economist with Hibiscus Petroleum and received an economics degree from Yale University.
